1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using Bounce Rate Detective ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. The App is operated by 920four ("we", "our", "us").

2. Description of Service

Bounce Rate Detective is a Shopify application that provides AI-powered behavioral analytics. The service includes anonymous visitor tracking, session recordings, behavioral pattern detection, AI-generated fix recommendations, conversion funnel analysis, and revenue impact calculations.

3. Account & Installation

You must have a valid Shopify store to use the App. By installing the App, you authorize us to install a tracking pixel on your storefront (via Shopify's Web Pixel API) and access certain store data as required by the App's functionality. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for ensuring your store's privacy policy reflects the use of analytics tools.

4. Customer Privacy Obligations

As a merchant, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring your store's privacy policy discloses the use of analytics and session recording tools.
• Configuring appropriate consent mechanisms for your store visitors as required by applicable laws.
• Complying with all applicable data protection regulations in your jurisdiction.

Our App integrates with Shopify's Customer Privacy API and will respect the consent settings you configure.

5. Pricing & Payment

Pricing is as displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through Shopify's billing system. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. We reserve the right to change pricing for new subscribers with 30 days' notice.

6. AI-Generated Content

The App provides AI-generated insights, recommendations, and code snippets. These are provided as suggestions and should be reviewed before implementation. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, and you implement any recommendations at your own discretion. AI-generated revenue impact calculations are estimates and not guarantees of actual revenue changes.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to track individuals.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Attempt to extract or re-identify anonymous behavioral data.
• Resell or redistribute the App, its data, or its functionality.
• Use the App in a way that violates the privacy rights of store visitors.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, revenue changes, or damages arising from the use of the App or implementation of its recommendations. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, and content, is the intellectual property of 920four. You retain ownership of your store data and analytics insights generated from your data.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. The tracking pixel will be automatically removed upon uninstallation. We reserve the right to terminate access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
